Thrice Collection

In light of Thrice taking an indefinite hiatus, I thought taking some snaps of 'em would make me feel better. Best band.

Xmas came early

Miles Away - Endless Roads Test Pressing /5

From the title, Xmas came early and I couldn't be more pumped to own a record than this piece. After losing the initial bid from SFU's rare releases to raise some money for the label, I got into contact with them and sorted out a deal to pick this up.

Record Update

Mixed bag of some new stuff I have received recently, all presents from my lady. All bands I dig and records I wanted, win win. Good work weffz.

City and Colour - Weightless 7" (/?) white vinyl

Have Heart - The Things we Carry 12" (/1000) Third Pressing - tri colour vinyl

City and Colour - Sometimes 12" (/?) - blue & yellow double LP

This package is unreal, said it before about the Record Store Day version but this is can't be beaten.

Compared to exclusive Record Store Day version:

50 Lions - Where Life Expires (5/100) Tour Pressing. Blue and white vinyl

Recently Six Feet Under (SFU) Records were selling exclusive records off to raise money for the label, this U.S tour pressing happened to be one of them:

Miles Away - Endless Roads (162/161) U.S Tour Pressing. Red vinyl.

Another LP from the SFU sale another to the Miles Away collection, this one being from their current U.S tour with a host of other sick bands. This is the third pressing from SFU for this release and through the ebay listing from the label, its noted that there was 164 of these, that would explain my 162/161 thats written on the back of the sleeve.

Comparison with the limited (/34) version Anchors Aweigh Records put out not so long ago.

PBC/Incubus/Alexisonfire

Polar Bear Club - Clash Battle Guilt Pride 12"

New record from PBC. Not a huge step up from previous work but still rocks, classic PBC. Bridge 9 hasn't released the pressing info for this release but it wasn't a pre-order so it can be too limited. On a cool reddish grey marble.

Incubus - A Certain Shade of Green 7"

Released in '98 as a way to promote their then new album S.C.I.E.N.C.E, the cover was designed to go along with the theme of the song. You are meant to colour the rest of the piece in as directed by the instructions on the cover but I think that would ruin it. Good idea at the time I guess? Nice addition to the collection though but can't find any pressing info.

Alexisonfire - Dogs Blood 12".

This EP was released after their last full length with 4 songs completely different to anything off that album. Not great but not bad. This store version is of /1100. The other 2 colours were from a U.S tour and an online pre order. Not fussed on trying to get them. Artwork is mental, still sucks the band called it a day.
