Massive Haul

Blow the cobwebs off this blog because its been quite a while....

Incubus - If Not Now, When? /? (LP)
This is their 7th release and over nearly 15 years they transformed their sound massively, not caring what people say and think and because of this its well worth the listen. Alot of other diehards were really let down by this record, not me. Solid release from the greatest band. Pumped for the Australian Tour 2012.

Thrice - Major/Minor. /4000 (2LP)
Holy shit thats all I can say. Hands down best release of 2011. Truely the most underated band and honestly deserve much more praise than what they get. This release is their best since Vheissu as it throws back to that album but improves on it tenfold. Its the release they were always meant to bring out, just took them a while to get there. Not saying that prior albums were a disappointment, far from it to be exact but this blows them out of the water. A really simple package front and back (not sure if theres a face on the front though) but open it up and the design, graphics and colours are something else.

Miles Away - Endless Roads 11/34. (LP)

The 11th copy I have of this record. This is a limited cover version Europe Merch put out from the remainding blue/white haze copies Anchors Aweigh Records released. They slap up a different cover to sell whats left over and boy do I buy into it. Either way, cover looks sick, goes with the actual vinyl though. The cover was pretty damaged at the bottom in shipment which is pretty standard from these guys, happens all the time but they say their sending out a replacement cover so heres hoping.

S.O.S - I Owe You Nothing / 1000 (7")

Fast, heavy, short, angry hardcore from new supergroup featuring Scott Vogel from Terror which is the only reason I picked this up. Good tunes.

Polar Bear Club - The View, The Life /? (7")

Good promo from Bridge 9 before the release of PBC's new album. Classic PBC but a whole lot better. Good tunes, can't wait for the full length. This is on grey marble mix, I think theres another 3 colours of this one though.

Incubus - Promises, Promises /? (7")

This is a UK only 7" release, not sure why the band did it but I had to get my hands on it regardless. Features the title track and B-side Rebel Girls which is completely different sounding Incubus song. Worth the wait for this though. Incubus = got to have it all.
